Validation Master Plan (VMP)

Validation process outline

A Validation Master Plan (VMP) is defined in PIC/s PI 006-3 as, "A document providing information on the company's validation work programme. It should define details of any timescales for the validation work to be performed. Responsibilities relating to the plan should be stated." These documents are site specific and outline the approach and actitivities to be performed for validation to ensure products are manufactured in compliance with regulatory requirements and meet quality standards.
