Product Changeover

Procedure of changing between product manufacturing on a single equipment train.

A validated process designed to ensure that there is no contamination or carryover from one product or manufacturing campaign into the next. Activity executed between product campaigns for designated area(s) and if necessary, any multi-use product contact equipment, either individually or collectively, that is intended to minimize the potential of product cross contamination within the manufacturing facility.
