Angled Pitch Blade

A type of blade that rotates to mix materials in a reactor

Also called a "marine propeller", an angled pitch blade has rounded edges that can slowly rotate during CIP to ensure proper cleaning. When developing a CIP cleaning recipe a spray device must have adequate coverage on from both above and below the mixer. In the process, angled pitch blades are typically used when producing low to medium viscous compounds.
